What is Aramid Webbing?
Aramid webbing is woven from aramid 1414 fiber. This is a new type of composite high performance webbing. It has very high strength (more than 28 g/denier), 5-6 times higher quality steel, elastic modulus. It is 2 to 3 times that of steel and glass fiber, its toughness is twice that of steel, and its weight is only 1/5 that of steel. The continuous use temperature range of aramid fiber is extremely wide at -196℃. The range of C to 204°C allows long-term normal operation. No shrinkage at 150°C, does not decompose or melt even at high temperatures of 560°C, has excellent insulation and corrosion resistance, and has a long life.
Aramid Webbing Feature:
Light weight, high strength, high elastic modulus, stable size, low shrinkage, puncture resistance, abrasion resistance, heat resistance, chemical resistance, flame retardancy, excellent mechanical properties, excellent dielectric properties, and other advantages.
Aramid Webbing application
Due to the special properties of aramid webbing, it is widely used in industrial conveyor belts, safety belts, industrial hoist belts, glass temper furnace roller table belts, and many other areas with special webbing requirements.
